I'm running amember pro v.3.2.3 and I have two payment methods. I need to disable/hide one of the payment options so that moving forward users only use one type for that product. Any ideas on how to possibly configure the code to do that? What's tricky and I want to be careful of, is that I don't want to disable/remove all the previous members who are subscribed using the old payment method. I'm not sure if "force payment method for product" might do that.
I think the best option is to create a new product, and set it to use only the new payment system- keeping the old one active, and use the link wizard so that the signup display only shows the new payment system. In the renew page, you can maually edit the code so that only the new payment option is available. David
When I attempt to create the new product, it tries to require me to put in the old payment method saying: Cannot update product: You MUST enter [payment system] Product ID while you're using [payment system] payment.
If that payment system will not be used for this product, you may enter any value into the field: for example N/A or 0, or 999999
