Is there anyway to automate with email/newsletter platforms?

I use MadMimi (it's a lot like Constant Contact but even easier). For now, I am manually exporting new members to add them to my newsletter list. Is there any way to automate this? And if not, is there a way to have amember automatically email me all new sign ups every week? Pardon my ignorance--I'm not very technical. But momentum on my site is picking up and I need to streamline the process.

I'd take a look at Ken Gary's amail plugin. Im sure he could help you customize it to work with your email provider.
