Can anyone help I am trying the demo with a view to purchasing the full version but cant get it to install. I get to step 3 and this is as far as I can get. I am a noob and realize it is probably something easy.

I have set the database up on the mysql of the isp cpanel, and it accepts it. But I get this message when moving onto the next part:
Installation script is unable to save file /var/www/web19/web/amember/config.inc.php.
For complete setup you may download new config files to your computer and upload it back to your server.
I have downloaded the file and uploaded it to the root folder on the server. Then I am getting this error message:
Site error: the file /var/www/web19/web/amember/index.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.

I have found the loader on a forum and uploaded it to the server but it has made no difference.

I have also now tried the install using Zender too and am still getting the same message as the first message above. When I uploaded the config.inc.php file it now says that the index.php file needs uploading in BINARY. I have done this but it doesnt make a difference.

Here is the log from the ftp client to show that I have uploaded in BINARY:

    Command: STOR index.php
Response: 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for index.php
    Response: 226 Transfer complete
    Status: File transfer successful
    Status: Disconnected from server
Response: 421 No transfer timeout (300 seconds): closing control connection
    Error: Disconnected from server

    Any help greatly appreciated. :D

It seems from the error that Amember does not have permission to save the file?

Can you check the permissions on your /amember folder (or /amember/config.inc.php if the file exists). For testing, CHMOD them to 777 and see if that solves the problem.

    /var/www/web19/web/amember/config.inc.php
