What abotu a Jamroom plugin? Jamroom (http://www.jamroom.net) is getting better and better with age and is well supported for years. It is very popular and is the only one FREE music hosting system. With amember it could become the perfect music hosting solution. His author is very friendly and responsive.
Same as for phpbb or mambo : - when an user is added to Amember it is added to Jamroom - select the Jamroom member type (free, plan1, plan2, plan3) depending on the settings in each products (same style as Mambo) so we can create one product per hosting type and create automatically the user account in Jamroom that corresponds to the user payments. - DB synchronization (when we do rebuild database) - one time login, when we log to amember, we are logged in Jamroom. Well it seems complicated, but it has been done for mambo and Vbulletin as least. There is a thread about amember integration in the Jamroom forums, with lot of info about how the passwords are encrypted an such... I don't have a link but a search of amember in their forums should be enought. Good luck!
