Dear Alex (or anybody else with deeper aMember knowledge :) ),

    Joomla 1.5 + vBulletin 3.6.x:
We're developing a quite large portal (around 8000 articles already done) with Joomla 1.5 past beta2 code base (as there'll be no more database changes between the current nightly builds/beta state and the final 1.5 version).

We'll open the new portal about 2 months from now and we'll use vBulletin as forum (+ vBlogetin for blogs and later Photopost as a gallery). We'll need user integration between Joomla 1.5 and Vbulletin 3.6.x.
Have you started to look the new Joomla code ? Is aMember joomla plugin already compatible with Joomla 1.5 in legacy mode?

    Performance:
There's another less sophisticated (although it's "two-way") bridge solution (@BBpixel) for vBulletin and Joomla. I've tested their bridge and it seems after the integration Joomla got MUCH slower. Also outdated information displayed at vBulletin Who's Online section.

Do you have some tests/data regarding aMember speed degrade compared the built in user mangement of different systems ?

    Any help appreciated! :)

Right now, I cannot answer exactly about Joomla 1.5 - I will be able to answer exactly on the next week.
Regarding speed - all aMember customizations are developed to minimally touch existing scripts, or to touch it as little as possible. So speed of Joomla is not affected at all if you enable integration.

any update on 1.5 support? this is a major issue that would be a huge help if someone from the aMember team moved forward on this.
