I've tried every configuration of database_joomla.jos_ and now I get this error:

Access denied for user 'frankb9_user1'@'%' to database 'frankb9_joomla'

I have full permissions set for the database user.

    Any suggestions?
Is it really this difficult to install this?
Also, in the joomla plug-in instructions, it's impossible to see that there is a period between the joomla and jos_.

assumed that your joomla dbase is named frankb9_joomla you first set in amember

    Joomla Other Db
use custom host, user, password for Joomla database connection (set to yes and save)

now fill in the first field if not autodetected frankb9_joomla.jos_

continue with localhost username and password of your joomla db,

set the secret word code then again save

now fill in the rest of the options like joomla live website url , joomla version and select the joomla usergroup and again save

when no error returns now, joomla is connected.

Now BEFORE you sync your database install in joomla the mambot/plugin and activate it. also check if the right foldername is used in the joomla plugin.

Now when you already have products in amember first open each one of them and asign the joomla usergroup to them.
    after you finish this

Go back to amember admin homepage and rebuild your database. (it can take a while (depending on useramount of amember)
