Just a great application

I am on the board of a cycling club in San Diego. Until last spring, our membership was kept in an excel spreadsheet, until we decided to try out aMember PRO. It has fit us like a glove. The cost was just right, and the personalized support for the customizations we required was outstanding. Although the product didn't have everything exactly as we wanted off the shelf, we were easily able to customize (many things were free only requiring simple php edits with help from aMember support) and purchase two major integrations:
1. Both Simple Machines Forums version 1.1.x and 2.0.x integration plugins for the price of one - both work flawlessly.
2. A separate customization where our members can, when signing up or renewing, add a donation of any amount, to our club.

So now, our club membership is entirely on-line, renewal notices will be sent out automatically annually, and we no longer have to invest time and energy into an annual membership drive, including personal pestering of the membership. Our membership has increased 35% since it is now so easy to sign up.

An update to this testimonial... Since we upgraded to Version 4.4, also a snap using aMember support, all of the minor customizations we originally needed for V 3.2 were no longer necessary. Everything was completely configurable for our needs. Also, our special Donation plugin is now part of V 4.4, so no customization was required there either. The back-end interface is much improved.

Another update to again acknowledge fantastic aMember support. Our bike club needed a Family Membership where one family member purchases the membership and then adds additional family members who have full individual member privileges in our club, in addition to having each family member accept an annual user agreement. This was accomplished by purchasing the Subusers module, followed by customizations for our particular use case. The details are in this forum thread.
