    Hi All,
I had to create a free product to act as an affiliate membership because when I signed up affiliates they are not getting any email that gives them the log in url, their usernames and passwords - they get nothing.

Yet all purchasers of products, whether paid or free, get all the info?

    Cheers

They should be- is the product set up ok?
    Use Customized Signup E-Mail
    Send Automatic Emails

If its a second product, set Send Automatic Emails day 0, your message.

    Hi David,
It sends an email if I treat affiliate registration as a product. i.e. create a product called affiliates

But amember offers an amember/aff_signup.php link which is not associated with any product, it's just for affiliates - but this does not send any confirmation or welcome email if someone signs up through this process

    Hi Dean,

    I have the same problem.

I want to offer someone to become a JV partner so I send them to the aff_signup.php

BUT they don't get username/password login info. I have to manually go in and create a free subscription for them then they get the username/password email.

Shouldn't there be an easy way to make this work?

Has anyone found an easier solution to this?
