I'm currently setting up a site usin aMember and latest version of Mambo (4.5.2.3)

I'm offering 6 different products which are basically content items.

I created the products in aMember, but now I'm having problems controlling the content items so that user1 who purchased product1 cannot view product2 (which he has not purchased).

Any help and/or direction is appreciated.

This is a Mambo/Joomla limitation. Please search this forum for posts I've made regarding this topic (maybe search for Joomla ACL) and also forums at http://forum.joomla.org/

P.S. you need to get off Mambo and get into Joomla (the *new* Mambo). Find out more at http://www.joomla.org

Your options at this point are to 1) wait until Joomla gets better Access Control (months away). 2) run Community Builder (a mambo/joomla component) and modify the Joomla plugin to work with Community Builder (not trivial but not impossible either) or 3) Have separate Joomla installations (or possibly separate "Joomla templates") for each product, but this will also take some skill.

You always can try to hire someone to do #2 or #3 for you at a site such as www.scriptlance.com .... hope this helps, i'm sure it isn't the answers you are looking for, but unfortunately thats the way Mambo/Joomla is at this point.
