Language muddled on signup page

My signup page is displaying #_TPL_SIGNUP_MEMB_TYPE# * and similar on all fields, opposed to "Membership type" etc. I haven't modified any template files or changed en.php. Has anyone experienced this??

Maybe your upload got corrupted somehow- is this a fresh install?

For new installs: Download a fresh copy of aMember and upload the files (overwrite all)

For new customizations: Approach your coder for ramifications.
