When we signed up for Amember we were building our site on a server using the IP address. When we registered our license I was not thinking and put that our URL would be www.kinderreese.com. Later I realized that www.kinderreese.com would not need Amember because it is an information only site. After the site was built we named it www.rockstarrealestatecoaching.com. Now when a client tries to login they get the following error. License error - license domain does not match your domain (rockstarrealestatecoaching.com!=185.12) at http://rockstarrealestatecoaching.c...andy121&submit=Login ยป&amember_redirect_url=/ ref from http://www.rockstarrealestatecoaching.com/ I submitted a ticket and the technician said he would change my license to be for the Rock Star site instead of the Kinder Reese site. After he did this the error still occurs. My clients can not get access to their membership sites and tech support is only responding to my requests in the middle of the night. What do I do?
I ended up going to my login at https://www.amember.com/amember/member.php and got in. I clicked on my website URL under the Licenses heading and was able to copy the new license key to my clipboard. I then logged into my Amember admin and went to Setup/Configuaration and clicked on License. I copied and pasted the new license into the license text area, but when I tried to save it gave me this error: License error - license domain does not match your domain (185.12!=rockstarrealestatecoaching.com) at http://185.12/Amembers/admin/setup.php ref from http://67.227.185.12/Amembers/admin/setup.php?notebook=License If you are the site administrator, click this link to fix I clicked to fix and changed the URL and saved and it worked fine.
