Just installed version 4.x after using 3 for more than a year. I have integrated with Wordpress and that is my method of protection with several products. Maybe I need to play around more but when I am signed in to the WP dashboard as the admin and I click over to the site, do I automatically have access to everything on the site. In my previous 3.x version I had to create a user in amember and grant lifetime access just to access the site and therefor the WP dashboard. This previous install protected the entire domain. Now that I am protecting only portions of the site by WP pages and categories do I need to create a user for myself or does the WP admin profile override all that? Finally I have several super users that while they do not have WP admin access to create or post anything I do want them to have free reign (lifetime) to view all content regardless of what product it is attached to? What is the best way to set this up?
Sure you will have access to all areas. Yes. WP admin will be able to access that content. Create new product in aMember and add these users to aMember. In wordpress allow full access to content for users of that product.
