I am trying to setup a already existing aMember/Wordpress site in local development.

What is the best way to do this? I am getting licensing error when i try.

"License error - license domain does not match your domain (sitename.localhost!=localhost)"

I have lots of sites using amember and am trying to figure out the best way to set local development environments using this.

Thanks a lot for you help

There is a separate license for localhost. Look for it in your member area here.

I tried to use that one... I believe its because I am using

    sitename.localhost/amember/ not just "localhost/amember/"

Or am i using the wrong license still? The error message does say your sitename doesn't equal localhost as I pasted above.

It dos not work because sitename.localhost is not valid domain name.
Contact me in helpdesk, I will check what can be done.

I have not bought a amember license, so where might I find a license for localhost?
    http://localhost/tester.php tells me:
    # Install free Zend Optimizer
    OR
    # Install free ionCube Loader
Which one of them should I use for a XAMPP Apache erver?
    Thanks, Aron

    1. You don't need license for localhost, aMember Trial does not require any license and can be installed on any domain.
    2. This does not matter what you will install IonCube or Zend, just use what is more easy to install.

are you using IonCube or Zend? Whichever one, try the other and see if the problem continues.
