Logs out of Amember but not Wordpress

Hi,

I am using amember 4.2.9, wordpress 3.4.2, the wordpress amember plugin and amember widget.

When I click logout in the widget, I am logged out of amember, but not out of wordpress. Supposedly protected pages and posts are still available to see and the widget still appears as if I am logged in. However, if I try to access protected folders or the amember members page, it just shows the login screen.

Can anyone help?

Are you logged into wordpress as an admin too?
