From my tracking its looking like i'm losing about 10 signups
per day and that's not cool. People are telling me that they
fill out the form at signup.php and hit continue but then it
    just refreshes the page.

    Here's my signup page...
    http://www.sitefling.com/amember/signup.php

Could it be because of my customizations? I didn't add
anything but simple html and CSS (i think)

Please help this is costing me a lot of money

Just tested with FF3 and IE 7, both worked. They could be entering in too short a username.
You may wanna make address optional too unless its really needed.

nothing funny on that page... everything seems to be working ok, so the only reason why I think you're getting abandoned sales is that you're asking for too much information upfront, like david mentioned.

you might wanna try setting username and password to "auto generate" (thus hiding 3 fields there) and removing address unless you really, really need it (thus hiding 5 fields there)...

Make signup.php it's own page on https.
Customize the look and feel of signup.php to match your site.
Add Paypal as a payment option.
Add your normal $29.95 price point as a product choice. Don't force the $1.
    Get a w3c privacy policy
Lose the address as mentioned by David
Lose the captcha... I don't think you need it
Get your own merchant account and lose 2CO. People don't like to feel like they left the site that they are paying for.

One thing could be that some security measure in IE (assuming you are handing off to Paypal) will cause a block message that they may be missing. Firefox does it sometimes if they, like me, default to JS off with NoScript as it also blocks other things. I have noticed this on a number of sites lately and sometimes I miss the warning and get a blank screen.

Welcome to the wonderful worlds of browser quirks.

Larry is right on with this. And a point to make when looking for issues with conversions is that rarely...if ever is it just one thing.

1st sign up it just refreshed (javascript disabled)
2nd sign up it went to checkout with out any problems (javascript ENabled)
3rd sign up it just refreshed (javascript disabled)
