mailing list

i need to send out free mailings that people can unsubscribe from. any suggestion? listmail might do this but if possible i thought i'd ask for options before i fork out $100. of course it needs to integrate with amember. I see Alex you said that you are working on making this a feature of amember. Any idea when. I don't want to spend $100 plus $40 instalation if you will have it already in a few weeks.

Mailworkspro ($99)
Listmail ($100)
Any suggestions?

so which third party mailer would you recomend (one that fits nicely with amember so that people can unsubscribe and amember takes note of it etc)

Listmail

Listmail is easy to install; I did it and I am not a programmer. Just follow instructions. The tech support responded to presales questions and one technical question in less than 24 hours; one time it was only a couple of hours and another time less than an hour. Listmail may be more power than you are looking for, but the price is very low for what you'll get and currently the upgrades are free for the life of the product and I think you get a 5 site license. There are offline managers, but like aMember, Listmail works 24 hours a day. The others you mentioned look pretty good also, but I only know about Listmail. http://www.listmailpro.com

Could you update us on how it's going with adding CAN-SPAM compliant features into amember ? ( mainly opt-in and subscribe/unsubscribe features ) Is that still part of your roadmap, or is building plug-ins for newsletter apps the way to go ?
