Mambo or Drupal integration with Amember for Paid Content?

Hi,

has anyone successfullly implemented installing Amember with Drupal or Mambo for a site that has partial content listed then for full article content they are prompted to sign up and pay for membership to get full access.

like the new york times used to do?

anyone try that or know how to set that up with drupal or mambo?
