MAX IP Count stopped working after update

    Hi,

    Here's a screen shot of my max ip count configuration for people being banned. The red box used to be minutes, but now it's changed to hours.

    I got members abusing my system now because they are not automatically being banned.

    All help is appreciated in this matter.

    Is the 1440 hours too long now? What's going on?

    OK, my offending account finally did get locked out after 24 hours, but I swear this happened automatically as soon as the IP limit was reached before?

    I've made a dummy account and broken the IP limit rule, and it still hasn't been locked out. I'll know more tomorrow after I wake up.

    Thanks for your help or clarification on how this process works exactly.

    This offending account was banned almost immediately after I gave him access again and he did not log in with multiple IP's to initiate the second and third ban.

    Not a big deal right now, so no support ticket. But any info is appreciated.

    Also, this guy's IP constantly changes and I feel he's a legit user and not BS'ing me with sharing his user name and password. I now have my MAX IP set to 3 within a 24 hour period. Should I put it back at the recommended level of 4-5 IP's within 24 minutes? That just seems really lenient to me.
