   Hello,
   
   Can you usig md5 to encrypt the password in htpasswd? Since I need to use this htpasswd in windows server.
   
   If I using md5, can I still use it in Linux?

   Try to use plain text on windows (amember cp -> setup -> htpasswd).
   
   On Linux, another encryption algorithm will be used. It just works as needed
