Member ID with capital letters

Hello,

I do not find how to configure amember to use also capital letters and dots in the member ID... DirkE instead of dirke or Hans.Meier.

Is this not possible or how can I do it.

Not sure about dots but for capital letters 'Configuration - Global' tick box 'Do not lowercase username'.
