When trying to log in to my aMember website using IE6, it keeps sending me back to the login page. I've tried this with several accounts. Works perfectly in IE7 and FF. I am almost certain that I have logged in with IE6 in the past (almost certain). What could be causing this? A few weeks ago I became a full-licensed customer of aMember. Could the updated License code have caused this for some weird reason?
I added my website to the "Trusted Sites" list in IE6, and it loaded fine. Then I removed my website from the list, and it still loaded fine. I don't know if that was the fix or just a coincidence? I'm thinking coincidence.
I have noticed more frequent complaints about customers having difficulties logging in.. need to pay more attention to whether or not they are running IE6. Thanks for the tip. Are you hearing feedback from any customers about difficulties using IE66?
This is very likely a cookie related problem. I haven't used MSIE 6 for a long while but it may be possible that MSIE 6 has a very strict cookie acceptance policy set as default? I have no way to test it though... Tomas
