Membership Not Renewing As Programmed

    Hi- here's our issue:

    Today we had our first "renewable" membership that was supposed to recharge the client for services and it expired the person instead.

    Can you tell me what is wrong with the programming or if this is a bug. If it's a bug, how do I fix it? We have members scheduled to renew on a dailiy basis from here on out and this could potentially be a large issue for us.

    Can you also provide us with documentation to troubles shoot problems like this in the future? If you have a user manual that would be very helpful.

    - aMember CP (admin) login info and URL
    - username which failed to renew

    Alex,

    Thanks for your email last week. We responded via email to send you the user name and password on 6.27.03. We haven't heard back from you and noticed that there are new posts from you as of today- so my question is have you received this email? As you can imagine, I don't want to post our confidential information on this open site.

    Please let me know and I am happy to resend if needed. This issue we have is growing more difficult to manage every day and we would greatly appreciate your help solving our reoccuring billing problem.

    I have the same problem with amember script.

    I have 30 members who have paid with Paypal but your script claims they NEVER paid and therefore denied access. This is wrong.

    I need this fixing soon.

    Why did we have this problem?

    Everybody who has such troubles: please review aMember CP -> Error Log
    If something happens with payment, it will be logged to Error log.

    Most recent problem is that PayPal email, configured in aMember and PayPal primary email account doesn't match. It will cause troubles for sure, so please change one of emails.

    Another recent problems is that PostBack/IPN/something_else function is not enabled (in payment system settings) or
    incorrect URL specified. Please check it.

    Another important thing. We consider such probems as matter of urgent. We always answering such questions ASAP if
    you contact us using email or contact form on our site.
    Forum questions answered sometimes, when we have time to answer it.

    I am have a problem as well I have had a couple of people sign up with pay pal and i see where the payment came through but it didnt give the member thier membership. in the admin area it says its all set but when i signed on with the members name and password it doesnt show up with the access link.
    as far as I can see its all set up correct but here is what the paypal debug says:

    I have exactly the same problem, and judging by some of the posts in the forum so do many others. Despite our subscribers paying for Instant Access to our products, they get the dreaded "No Active Subscriptions" message in the members area.

    I know that Alex is aware of this, and his help has been as much appreciated, but this is a serious problem that needs fixing.

    Strangely enough, we do not have this problem when using the Free Payment Plugin, but with PayPal, Nochex and even Manual CC Processing it happens ever time.

    Hope it gets sorted soon

    Credit Cards NOT recurring...

    Hello, I have asked Alex regarding this but I believe he is very busy. Until I wait for his answer, I thought I would check with other users to see if anyone has figured out how to fix this.

    Credit card transaction run ok but they do not recurr.

    I checked all my setting and they seem fine. All products have the recurring feature on. I set them daily recurring for testing purposes but the transactions happen just once.

    Alex and his crew has provided me with superb customer service and they have answered ALL of my 3 week customization questions so I am extremely happy with this purchase. However, this is the last thing I need to fix before I can go live and anyone's advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    There is a problem in 2.3.2 version and we will issue 2.3.3 release on this week, that will fix these issues and fix broken records.

    Don't worry - we will publish exact instructions.

    I don't think you have customized file amember/plugins/payment/paypal_r/paypal_r.inc.php

    it is only a file caused the issue.

    Hi Alex, I have left a message via the support system but am a bit in a hurry and wanted to try the forum as well. Apolgize for this cause I know you don't want duplication, but been waiting many weeks to get started with my program and I am starting to feel some pressure. I believe I purchased the script over a month ago...

    I updated all files to 2.3.2 version last night, which was supposed to end the 'recurring' problem of credit cards. However, I got the following error message from aMember this morning (from a test last night):

    Your subscription was not renewed automatically by membership system
    due to payment failure: "Card Code is required.".

    I thought that the script would ALWAYS pass the CVV2 value to the gateway on each transaction, since to the gateway each recurring subscription is actually a NEW subscription, isn't it?

    Please let me know how to fix this.
