Hi I have been using aMember for nearly 3 months. I have a couple of problems I'd like some help with please... My product is an email which is delivered by listmailpro. Amember ads them to the list, no problem there. I have a 14 day free trial for my product so members first pay on day 15. No problem there, but when my first couple of members renewed their membership for the second time (45 days into their membership), listmail started their email sequence all over again. Send Automatic Emails after Renewal is set to "continue old mailing cycle", is that right? Also, I had a couple of membership payments fail in paypal. The members have not cancelled their subscription so I assume there was no funds in their paypal accounts and no direct debit or card payment set up, although the members have not replied to my emails so I'm just guessing. They are still showing as "active" members in aMember and were continuing to receive the follow up emails from listmailpro. Is this normal for aMember? How many times will it let the payment fail before it makes them inactive? Can I change this? Thanks
That controls the amember sequencing no listmail. maybe a bug in the plugin that keeps re-adding them. It will usually fail 3 times before canceling them. Tries every few days. I think the sequence is Fail, try 3 days later, fail try 1 day later, fail- cancel. David
Hi David Thanks for your reply. Another member just paid their second (day 45) subscription & again they got moved back to sequence one Any ideas?
Has aMember been abandond? It been nearly a week now and still no response from support I have a member make their first payment today (after 14day free trial so the payment had already been set up in paypal 2 weeks ago) and the stayed at the same point in the listmailpro sequence, yet another member made their second payment and gor put back to sequence one. Has anyone else had this problem in the past?
Just wanted to come back and say that support contacted me and has made some changes. I'll know in a couple of days if the problem is fixed.
