I am not sure why but my moodle integration has stopped working. When a user signs up for a course and then goes to moodle they are not enrolled. This happened after one of my teachers who had access to aMember attempted to manually enroll a student into a course that was disabled in aMember. I do not have much more information that that because she is not sure what she did...go figure. I uploaded new versions of the php files in case something got corrupted but it did no good. My next step if I can get no help is to uninstall the plug in completely and go back to manual registration in Moodle. I hope I do not have to do this.
I would walk through the documentation step by step to ensure everything is still intact (and the files and permissions are still valid) http://www.puchemistry.org/testing/m...ntegration.pdf You could also use this as an opportunity to evaluate eFront http://www.amember.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8632
Thanks Skippy I have already been through the documentation. I spent 8 hours trying to figure this out. I am no master php programmer but I have been around the web for a while and have been using Moodle and aMember for over three years. This one just has me stumped. I have thought about switching to efront after seeing it in some of your posts. Moodle is sooo quirky. especially some of the new stuff in 1.9 with grades and assignments/roles and groups. How large is the support community? I didn't see much on the forums there. I know the Moodlers are great for the really small stuff and with the developers end but for people like me, in the middle, I do not get alot of answers. Do you know if it integrates with WiZiQ or DimDim?
Hey taije, Bummer on the documentation, was hoping there would be a needle somwhere in that haystack for ya. The community is fairly active. In addition to users helping users, there are typically no less than 3 of the senior developers checking in on a daily basis. Since they have activated SVN releases in January, there are multiple releases a day so no bug sits around for very long. Major releases seem to happen every 60 - 90 days (and upgrading is a breeze!) It does support DimDim. They just released an updated extension for full support of the new version of DimDim on April 1. You can get the list of available modules (which extend core functionality) here. The new version (3.5.3) is due out this week and 3.6 in May. Some cool stuff on the way, check out the roadmap here
