    Hi

I have already submitted this to support, but thought I'd ask on here as well while I'm waiting.

I've just moved to a new hosting provider, and they provide database names like:

    web123-moodle-1

The '-' seems to be causing problems with the moodle script. When I try to configure it from the Amember side, there is an SQL error saying:

Moodle error: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-moodle-1.mdl_user LIMIT 1' at line 1

This suggests to me that something is wrong with the parsing of the database name. It works fine with a database called 'moodle', but my hosting company won't let me rename the database!

Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any quick workarounds?

    Thanks in advance

    James
