Does anyone have experience with supporting customers in multiple languages? I realize I can create a different product for each language, but the language chosen by a member does not show up in his member record. Even if I add a field for that, there does not seem to be an easy way to view all members with a given language. Also, how would one customize the templates based on the member's language?

    Any suggestions will be appreciated!

We currently have a successful membership based website that uses aMember membership software.

We now need to integrate a Spanish version to go along with the current English version. aMember can easily place a drop down field where the user can select Spanish however this only changes the fields and their labels into Spanish and the rest of the page is still in English. We have translated all the text needed on the registration page as well as the main menu etc and need some programing that will also change all the text to Spanish when it is selected from the drop down field.

You can view the English version of the page at http://www.tennisicoach.com/amember/signup.php

Can you suggest how best we can provide a Spanish version for our Spanish users?

I run several sites with more then one language. There are several ways to go about. If you just talk about Amember its easy to change languages as the templating allows you to translate the variables into different languages. There are several ways to view members with certain languages, you could e.g. specify the product name in their respective language thus allowing you to see who uses what,.
