I have several free subscriptions that are set up for 10 year subscriptions. However, the customer is able to keep ordering again and again, adding another 10 years each time. Is there a simple way to limit his ability to re-subscribe until he's within a certain number of days of the expiration date? I don't want to hide it from him forever -- I do want him to be able to renew, just not 1000 times right now. Thanks.
Thanks for your reply Abbeyvet! We work a lot with kids. When they see their member page they'll try clicking on the free order items to see what happens. B) When they see the new item with a 2023 date they'll click again and again, making a game out of it to see who can be signed up the longest. Not all will do this, but more than you think. What would be great would be to: 1. Have a screen popup that says that they're already subscribed to that item if they already have one current subscription and one future renewal already in the system. Or, 2. Have a screen popup that says that they're already subscribed to that item and that they can renew when their subscription is within 30 days of expiring. Even better would be if we could then have a reminder screen automatically popup when they login whenever they're within 30 days of expiring. I mention the above ideas, but realize that there are numerous other ways this could be accomplished, and if amember already has (or develops) a system to handle this situation then I have no doubt that it will work nicely.
