I've been using amember for some time and it works very well. I have run into a problem with setting up protection for the following scenario.

    Product A $100 45 days access
    Product B $100 45 days access
    Product C $100 45 days access
    Product D $100 45 days access

Product E $10.00 per month offers unlimited access to already purchased and future purchased courses.

Any idea how to set this up in the most efficient way?

I figure I may be overlooking something obvious.

    Thanks

I'm not sure if its possible to do this- theres no mechanism for product E to recognize what prior product the member bought.

I think customization may be required.

    Hi,

Not sure if this is what you are after but you might want to set-up your product E for recurring billing at $10.00 per month for access to all courses, and then under 'Require another subscription to order this product' option, enter the other products that need to be ordered before a user has the option to sign up for product E (if they haven't then they won't see an option to order product E). This option allows you enable access to the product if the user has active OR expired subscriptions to other products, so is quite flexible.

I know this method will not allow you to check for previous individual courses ordered, only all of them or a specific list but it is a starting point. Perhaps Alex could suggest a workaround? Also, it might be worth submitting a ticket for a feature suggestion so that you can select in the admin section whether 'product 1' OR 'product 2' OR 'product 3' is ordered before allowing access to a new product. At the moment the only check is if all products selected in the list are ordered (i.e. similar to using the 'AND' logical operator). A feature using 'OR', and perhaps combinations of 'OR, as well as 'AND' would be nice, and very powerful!

Additionally there is another option directly underneath to 'Disallow subscription to this product if the following conditions meet and user has', which provides even more flexibility.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for the replies. I couldn't figure an easy way to do it so I guess a ticket is in order.

Just wanted to let anyone who might be interested that this was handled most expitiously by support for a very fair price and appears to work great. I have found support here to be fantastic.
