Listed below are the messages sent to Support before and after Lunarpages updated to PHP version 4.3.10 and Zend Optimizer 2.5.7. ========================================================= Message #1 to CGI-Central Ticket System: Finally got word from my hosting service at Lunarpages that they will be upgrading PHP to 4.3.10 soon. I am preparing myself with your docs. Few questions: 1) Can I upgrade or follow your documentation now before I get upgraded to 4.3.10? 2) I ran the tester.php file. Again I have this question of which 'optimizer' I am really running. In my /member folder I have an /IonCube folder but no Zend Optimizer folder/files. However, running the tester.php comes up with these results... Testing whether your system has ionCube Loader in php.ini...Failed Testing whether your system has Zend Optimizer in php.ini...OK Testing results: No additional configuration required and aMember will work on your hosting using the following loading method: Zend Optimizer installed If I look in version info in Amember CP it says I am running Zend Optimizer in a few places with no mention of IonCube. Which version am I really running and what do you suggest I upgrade - Zend or IonCube? - Note: Lunarpages supports Zend and does not appear to support IonCube. Thanks and I can't wait to upgrade!! ========================================================= CGI-Central Reply: You should use Zend Optimized version in any way. You will not need to upgrade IonCube loades. ========================================================= My Response: I forgot to mention something. If tester.php and Amember CP says I have Zend, then why does my rconfig.inc.php file not say < ?php @Zend; but a lot of crap leaning toward the default IONCube? ========================================================= Another Response by me: Sorry to be spamming you but it appears I was upgraded to PHP version 4.3.10 last night by Lunarpages. I do not get smarty issues but I do get this message at signup.php and admin/index.php: 'license domain doesn't match your domain' ========================================================= Even another response by me to correct this problem ASAP: Back to my Zend and IonCube questions...How do I convert to Zend if my rconfig.inc.php is IonCube but tester.php and version info in Amember CP says I am Zend? I looked in the /plugins folder and they are for Ioncube. Do I replace the two files (rconfig.inc.php at amember root and mysql.inc.php in plugins) with the Zend optimized version? When I login for support on your website, do I download the Zend files under the Amember 2.3.3 default IonCube or is there a specific Zend files for 2.3.2? I will backup and try the replacement and let you know in the meantime. ========================================================= My Final Response in what appears to be a functioning Amember after PHP 4.3.10 and Zend Optimizer 2.5.7 upgrade by Lunarpages ========================================================= Alex's Response to the above: Yes it's good ========================================================= END
It started to happen because LunarPages decided to install Zend Optimizer to ALL servers, and your site become affected by trouble described in my last post: http://www.cgi-central.net/forum/showthread.php?t=3288&page=2
