MySql Connection Issue....

    I uploaded all the files for the trial version and ran the setup script as directed in the Quick Start directions. I get the following message and was hoping someone might have some wisdom to share.....TIA! :)


    Cannot connect to mysql (Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2))

    who is your host?

    what did you enter for your database server name? localhost? is that correct for your environment or should it be a named server?

    Our host is FatCow.com....decent enough I suppose.

    I did leave it as localhost, and as far as I can tell this is supposed to be correct.
