Need Help deciding on set up and plug ins ... anyone consult on this?

Hi, I purchased a business in May and I'm not happy with the way the site handles new sign-ups, there's no follow-up/auto responder feature, no automation period! I have been looking at amember and want to get it set up. I would love to be able to describe my business, what I want my site to be able to do, and for someone to set me in the right direction as to how to make it work.
