This is not a rant or a complaint I know support is busy, and I appreciate the support I get on a product I bought many years ago.. I do wish they had an option to pay for a higher level of support though.. Anyhow I have been working with support on a issue with my site. It's been very frustrating.. I submit a ticket and a day later I get a response. Most have not been helpful at all.. After 2 weeks or more my problem is still not resolved and it's really starting to hurt my business.. Imagine buying a product online, getting a usename and password to the product and it doesn't work... You can imagine the creditability I lose on the initial contact... So I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone can help me.. Or point me to someone who can...I actually need a programmer/coder who can help me with this but I have many other projects coming up.. .This could be a long term relationship for the right person.. Here is my issue... Amember created me a custom plugin to work with Office Auto Pilot... the plug in simply takes API information via a ping request and writes to the database. This plugin is not working properly.. There are no errors in the log, but data is not being written to the DB properly.... I can see the line items for each transaction in the invoice logs, but the new users are not being added or if they are added the invoice is not being added so they have no access.. I also have another plugin created the exact same way for nanacast.. This plugin works fine...So i don't think its a mod security problem on the server.... FYI this was a site move from one server to another server.... It was not planned it had to happen as hostgator just shut down my site one day... Thanks Rob
OK fire out ! This problem is solved.. Thanks Alex.. I'm still in need of programmer who works with API integrations and PHP. If anyone is interested please send me a message..
I do think amember should offer a paid support and developer option. They could simply hire a coder or outsource with their guidance. I know a ton of people willing to pay $100s of dollars for minor changes. A new dedicated staffer would cost them peanuts compared to what they could make. I know the bulletin guys make 40% of their business on custom coding. They could just partner with a team and claim 30% for the lead and have a ton more ethos with their customers. Love the product would love more support.
