I have a site where I'm going to be providing video tutorials about making music with a particular software. I'm going to charge a yearly access fee for this. I want users to be able to view the tutorial page however when they click on the link to view each tutorial, then it should prompt them to amember sign up page. Most likely I would like them to see a couple of free video tutorials however maybe the 3rd tutorial and so forth will require sign up and payment. I have the full version of amember and have read the protection but I need a full understanding of how I can do this. I wish someone could do a video tutorial on how to protect and setup custom sign up pages that will look exactly like the site.

    Here is the site page

    Thank you

I think you should switch your protection to new_rewrite.

Leave the sample video directories unprotected and protect the video directories that you have member content in with new_rewrite protection.

PS I have many videos on using amember on my site.

    hitentertainment,

You should also consider if you plan on providing an iTunes feed of the videos as you will need to use Basic Auth (.htgroup/pass) protection instead.
