    Hi,

I am trying to set up a subscription system for a client, but he does not want to have to store customer credit card numbers on his server. I understand that some of the aMember plugins do require that CC numbers are stored locally, for instance, Authorize.Net plug-in.

Has anyone used this option (Authorize.Net) and how risky is it to store CC numbers locally?

Also, can anyone recommend a payment gateway that works with aMember to implement automated recurring billing? (That is, so that customers can log in to aMember and end or update their subscription without requiring and administrator to log in to some payment gateways control panel and update the customers info.)

    THANKS FOR YOUR HELP

    Hello,
it is common practice to store encrypted credit cards in databases for recurring billing for some payment processors. With some payment processors, there are no other ways to implement 100% automated recurring billing. I personally do not like this option, but there are no other ways, but to choose another payment processor.

We have implemented new list of payment plugins here:

    I hope it helps.
