Hi, When a customer or affiliate signs up, we should be able to have fields (in the forms editor) for both regular email address AND paypal email addresses (because sometimes these are different. People may want to be emailed to a separate email than their paypal address is).
Yes, its nice idea to find the exact user by paypal id. Currently I'm running a forum which have 50+ paid monthly recurring users. Sometime they didn't cancel the recurring subscription but in amember when I look on the user membership status, Its already been Expired. (But in paypal user membership recurring active and charged) So, the user mail me his paypal email to resolve the issue, but its hard for me to look at all the new paid user's transaction logs one by one to find the exact user by his paypal id.
