    Hi,
I have followed the integration instructions included with the new plugin but when I purchase a free item the new user I created is not added to my wp_user table.

Where would I debug this? I know PHP but have no idea where to start testing...

Want to debug the call to wp_user and make sure db access is ok and that there is no mysql_error()

    Running WP 3.0 ... and aMember Release: 3.1.9PRO ($Revision: 2098 $)

Not sure what I might be doing wrong...

There was an old /wordpress/ plugin directory in the /secure/ directory - but that plugin is not enabled. Should I remove that directory?

Only the /wp/ plugin is enabled.

    Thanks for any help.

When a person initially registers or purchases a product with aMember, they will not be added to the WP database until the next time they login. I suspect this is what is going on.

Have you configured your free product to include Wordpress access?

Have you logged to aMember with your new user and checked post login?

I am having the same issues. User can log into amember fine and go to the blog, but is not logged into the blog. The user has to log into the blog through Wordpress log in in order to get access to the protected areas of the blog. I been over this for hours and even reinstalled everything over and over again, thrice.

It seems as if the two databases are not working together.

I am using wordpress 3.0 and have uploaded the wordpress plugin a couple of days ago, I'm not sure what version it is because it doesn't say anywhere.

I am so over these poor instructions given, or no instructions really.

Please contact me at helpdesk or at alexander@cgi-central.net and provide access info.
I will check what can be wrong.
Also please version info should be available in Wordpress admin -> Plugins page.

I have the same problem. The highest version listed is 2.9. It doesn't work. The instructions aren't the easiest to understand but they are far from terrible. They are listed in the Wordpress plugin. I can't even get a rebuild to enter the users in the database.

    Same Problem...

    Same problem, same versions...

I'm contacting you via the helpdesk as well -- can you please help get this fixed? (I've been banging my head against the wall for 2 or 3 days now trying to get the wordpress / amember integration working).

    Thanks,

    Ryan

I seem to be having the same problem here. At signup user is added to Amember but and can access blog but is not added as a Wordpress user. Also the login widget does not seems to work it just links to Amember signup and login. User can't login in using widget.

Anyone have any luck integrating Wordpress 3.0 and amember logins and user information? Please share, help, advise....
