    Hi

I have just launched a website using aMember. When someone signs up as a member they are sent their verification email to activate their account. If they do not active their account straight away they get another email the next day reminding them.

The problem I am having is that Norton AntiSpam is blocking the emails as junk. Does anyone know of a way around this?

    Thanks for any help.

    Ways to check

If you are using the anti-spam program, have amember send an email to you. Then find the email in the spam folder or junk folder or whatever it is called in Norton, and see what keyword caused it to be rejected.

I used a junkie program called "Spamkiller" for a while which I wasn't impressed with. However, it was set up with "rules" which filtered on certain keywords.

Anytime I had a payment notification regarding "pharmaceuticals", it was considered spam by default.

The point is - find out what key word Norton is seeing as a "spam" keyword (usually in the subject field) and then EITHER change your email from your system to avoid this; or explain how to change the filters to your customer - or both.

    Good luck.
