We offer our members a few "add-on" third-party services and when someone cancels their membership, we need to manually remove them from the third-party services. Actually, it needs to happen when they "expire", *not* when they "cancel". Is there any way to have aMember send us an email when a members subscription to a certain product expires? Unfortunately, we need a "marker" to indicate which members have this third-party product so I created a new product in Amember and manually add that product to each person that gets it with an expiration date of 2037. This also means that even if the members monthly subscription expires (due to failed payments, expired CC, etc.) their User Status remains "active" because of the active third-party product that I manually added. So I can't use the User Status as an indicator when someone expires. It has to be when their monthly recurring product expires. Anyone in a similar situation and how did you overcome it? Of our 510 active members, 340 are subscribed to this third-party product. It's too many for us to check each of the 340 manually. --
I don't have any experience with 3rd party plug ins, however I to am trying to get notification when a membership expires even if it is cancelled some weeks/days beforehand. Any help would be appreciated. Ash
Some payments processors will send you a notification upon cancelation- i know paypal and worldpay does. David
Yeah, I think the point is that we need a notification when the users subscription period in amember expires, not when they cancel their paypal/credit card continuity. These dates could be days, weeks or months apart. In my personal situation I am manually providing subscribers a service and not just access to a members area. Any thoughts? Tia, Ash
