Oh crap.. test migration just emailed all my members!

    I was testing a migration to V4 on a new domain and when i imported the members they all received an email with a new password and login link.

    I did NOT want this to happen.

    How can I prevent this happening again as I have several more test imports to run??

    What amember version are you using?

    E-Mailing is specially disabled in the import script... not sure how it may happen. Please shortly describe how did you run import

    Alex,

    I set up Version 4 on the new account went to /admin-import3 and ran it from there.

    I think i screwed up by uploading the wrong V4 version 4.19 rather than the latest I had them both in the same folder ..would that account for it?

    I've deleted the install now and will try again once I'm sure it's not going to happen again...

    Yes, 4.1.9 is quite old. Later versions specially disable ANY e-mailing during import.
