I'm re-installing an old amember script. Probably 3.2 My more current version is locked up in my computer that is broke down. I use godaddy.com for my hosting. I can only get as far as putting in the datebase info and then I get a crazy socket error that I never got before. With godaddy when I create a new database it does not create it with two names with an underscore in between them like it has in the past when I have used Cpanel. Could this part of the problem? the socket error says that it cannot find the name in MySQL. And sure enough when I go look in the MySQL admin panel no tables or anything have been created. Can anyone here give me any helpful advice please? Thank You - Julie
Not sure, but... if creating the database via Cpanel isn't working, wouldn't that be something to ask Godaddy?
