I have been unable to find anything about utilizing an opt in email function for users during the signup process. I want to be compliant with canned spam laws. Is this as easy as putting a new field and checkbox into the signup form that they can check if they would like to receive additional offers via email? TW
Use newsletters to send emails. When newsletters will be enabled, user will have such checkbox on signup.
it will be enabled as soon as you will add newsletter thread in aMember CP -> Email -> newsletter threads.
