Hi there, I'm trying to work out this problem: - we want to give selected users a months free trial using paypal (and possibly protx). - i had assumed we'd use the voucher system, but if I give a 100% discount on the first month it uses the free payment system and by-passed paypal. - i dont want to give everyone a free trial, so just having the paypal sign-up with 1 month free isnt an option. - we have to make sure they give their payment details when they sign up for free as we want maximum conversion rate when they get to the end fo the free trial Any ideas as to how we can work this to provide selective free trials with the user giving CC details at time of trial sign-up? Many thanks, Steve.
Free Trial Period I would also like to offer something similar. I would like to offer a 7-Day Free Trial Subscription, but have it setup such that when the 7-Day's expire, the full subscription is billed. For example, I would like to offer a 1 Month Subscription w/7-Day Free Trial. They would enter credit card information, but not be charged immediately. Once the trial period ends, they would be charged, and their official 1-Month subscription would start (effectively giving them 37/38 days of membership. How would this be done?? Bryan
Bryan, if you use Paypal, what you want to do is easy. Just set Trial 1 to 7 days and $0. Then set your product to be monthly with whatever price you want. When someone joins they will have to go thru Paypal to set up a subscription. If they haven't cancelled within the 7 days, they will automatically get billed.
