How/Where can the order of the data fields be altered on the ADD USER screen ONLY. We have a customized signup form with many added fields. All of these fields are in the exact order in which the user should enter the data. We also have a Profile screen and Membership Directory based on those fields. We have been able to arrange those fields in the order/display desired. However, the ADD USER screen field order is daunting us. How can we customize the visual layout/order of the form fields for ADD USER?
You can alter fields order at aMember CP -> Configuration -> Add Users Fields. Just drag and drop rows to arrange it. You can change order of additional fields only. It is not possible to re-arrange build in fields.
That process works perfectly on public-facing forms, re: signup and member directory. However, the form fields are not aligning correctly on the ADMIN ADD USER screen. A Rebuild DB has been performed.
It is strange. Please contact us in helpdesk (https://www.amember.com/support) and refer to this ticket we will check what can be wrong with your installation.
It turns out that the error was on our part - bad eyesight or just not looking at the screens. The order of the fields for the ADD USER screen can be changed on that screen using the drag/drop column at the far left. The content of that column is a tad greyed-out and has not heading, thus we missed it visually. Our appreciation to support for helping us improve our eyesight!
