Hi guys, thought I would try here before emailing alex.

    I have a few questions:

    QUESTION 1

Ive been running amember now for 3.5 months and am happy with the fact that its being used and seems to work.
I have an affiliate program, set on but so far the only referrals sem to have come from me.

A friend of mine told me he referred a paid member, but, as admin, I never got an email stating that he referred her. I also asked him and he told me hes had no email either.

Im just wondering if possibly my p3p policy isnt fully correct/working, as I know this affects cookies.

OR, could it be that sometimes it takes for paypal IPN to happen before notification is posted back as paid?

Also, I just tried to sign up myself, under my friend... via egold... again no email notifications bu I do show up in the admin area...

and I did delete my cookies beforehand.

I ran my site through a p3p validator but I dont understand all the answers:

    heres the results:

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So, basically in summary to question 1, it dosnt look like cookies are working right on my site and Im no tech guy!

    QUESTION 2:

I have 2 products, free and paid.

    I use egold and paypal.

paypal supports free trials, egold doesnt.

paypal has a 7 day free trial then charges the customer the monthly fee.

Now, looking at my new members, some who have paid via paypal or egold, sometimes the software does not indicate that they have paid, even if I check out my payment processor and see that they have paid.

So this would cause confusion when it comes to processing referral commissions later on.

    any ideas as to why????

    THIRD QUESTION

    CLICKS COMMISSIONS
Date Raw Unique Transactions Credit Debit Total
    08/01/2006 68 65
    08/02/2006 85 83
    08/03/2006 76 73
    08/04/2006 74 72
    08/05/2006 84 74
    08/06/2006 69 67
    08/07/2006 73 72
    08/08/2006 102 92
    08/09/2006 186 135
    08/10/2006 92 62
    08/11/2006 88 86
    08/12/2006 84 77
    08/13/2006 348 234
    08/14/2006 102 92 3 -0.00 15.00 15.00
    08/15/2006 104 79 1 -0.00 5.00 5.00

Now in the above stats for today why dos it show credit in a red color and as a -0.00 with debit being the positive number.

Does that means that ultimately it is a debit for me, the owner (and ultimately will be a credit for that member??

    Thanks guys
