Hi, Two things I ask for your help on, please. Scenario: I am using Moodle along with amember. One logs in through Moodle and is logged into amember as well. The pages I make in Moodle are all protected. This works fine as far as I can tell. I have also protected an additional folder for my product using new-rewrite. First problem to be solved: When I go to the url of that protected folder I get an error page. I am not shown a login page. AND: Second problem to be solved: I have uploaded a page to that folder. (just a regular .htm page I made in Dreamweaver) When I go to that url, it is not protected at all and can be viewed without logging into amember through moodle. Any suggestions? I thank you in advance! Catherine
Try deleting the session cookies and then open the URL to the protected folder (or the .htm page inside of it). If you can directly access some files in the protected folder even after the session cookies have been cleaned, there is very likely a problem with the new_rewrite plugin - either there is a problem with the .htaccess file it created, or it lacks support for it on the server side. That's as much as I can help without seeing the problem myself. Tomas
OK, I confess, it was me. I'd logged in twice, once as administrator and once with a user name I assigned myself. I didn't realize I'd logged out of only one name! Thanks for your help anyway. I've been sitting here at the computer for several days this week, trying to get the course set up and available to people, and everything's beginning to blur together! I'll go outside, take a walk and come back later.
