I'm setting up a site that will last for just over 4 months. There will be a one-off payment option that will grant access to the site for the entire period of 4 months - which works fine. I am wanting to offer a 3 installment payment option. I've tested out various setups to accomplish this yet nothing has worked. When I try a 4 month subscription recurring is checked recurring times set to 3 When tested it set up a 3 payment option to recur every 4 months - not monthly. If I change the length of subscription to a exact date, or lifetime - I get an error when trying to sign up. What am I missing to make this happen?
Sounds like your period setting is wrong. Can you post a screenshot? should be: Price: 49.95 (a month) Period: 3 mos. Recurring: checked period: 3 If its 3 installments- should be 3 month subscription. Whats the timing of subscription/payments you are trying to get? David
I am wanting the membership to last 4 months (or to a specific date of May 14, 2011). But I am wanting to offer a 3 payment option. If I set it to 3 months for the subscription then those that chose this option would not get all the material.
Use a screenshot of your product settings. I dont think you can do 3 payments, but 4 months of access. You can give lifetime access after the 3rd payment which is what i think you want- my lifetime plugin lets you do that. I think the new version of the incremental content plugin will also let you do that. David
