So I have set up aMember in conjunction with Joomla for a subscription website that I am creating. My problem is this: each time a user makes a payment, it is not processed (and so the subscription is not validated) until I manually log into my PayPal and verify their transaction. The aMember documentation mentions that this happens if the PayPal account which is receiving payments is a Personal account, instead of Business or Pro. But I do have a Business account and still I need to manually verify/deny each payment. Would it have anything to do with the fact that I am receiving payments in GBP and converting them to CAD$ ? Or might the issue be the fact that my PayPal account is "Unverified"? Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers!
Yes, you need a verified account, and also upgrade to premiere. then you can set it up for subscription payments and also receive IPN notification of the payment. You dont need a business account. David
