Hey mantzm, The PayPal plugin is working okay. This may happen to PayPal when they are upgrading servers. Wait out a few days, it should go away. Lee
Lee, You may be correct... there is a service outage reported on the blog but it says it started this afternoon. Not sure why that would have caused me problems yesterday. I will do what you suggest and wait it out. Mark
Hey Mark The last time that happened to me, it was a couple of weeks ago. It was intermittent, affected certain timezones before it hit me in the face. I called them - they told me the exact same thing. Had me running around for other solutions, checking the code, etc. Even had Alex in the loop. It turned out, it was "resolved" before we found any mistakes. Conclusion? It was PayPal, but they won't tell you it was them. Lee
After further testing I have found it is not working from my windows PC, but if I use my Mac Book Pro it works 100%. I tried turning off my antivirus and windows defender etc... with no luck. I even upgraded to the latest version of Amember and it still does not work. I no longer think it's a PayPal issue but something with a recent Microsoft update. I did try Safari on my windows Vista and that did not work either. I think I might have to open a ticket and have Alex and his group research it further. MM
Assuming you have tried clearing your browser cache and such.. I would check your c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts file as well as scanning for malware/viruses.. that sounds a bit fishy..
The last time it happened, the issue cleared in 3 days (to my knowledge) without me installing any patches/security stuff (at least not that I recall). Lee
To all, It seems as though the problem ended up being the integration with Joomla. I had amember pulled through a wrapper in joomla and when it pushed out to the paypal site it failed. I have changed back to opening a new window and the process works perfectly. I will research further at a later time. What does not make sense is the fact that it will work off of a Mac & Iphone but not using a windows OS. MM
