Hi there - we've just had a visitor who used an eCheque from Paypal. The e-mail to confirm it's cleared has come through, but the system doesn't appear to have updated the member from pending to paid. Is this something I'm going to have to do manually or does Paypal only send the update at set times and I just need to wait a little?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Dave

On my site it gives em access immediately. Do you have the IPN set up properly? is this only on echecks. amember may need to make a change to your code to allow them access.

Hi David - it's only with eCheques - also worth noting that it's the Paypal Pro plugin rather than the standard Paypal system, though I don't know if that makes much difference in this case.

Coincidentally enough - it's a WordPress themes site. Nice to meet another WP/aMember user.

Is there an official opinion on this? What's the standard behaviour and what could be causing eCheques to not clear?

    Thanks...

While not official, I have also always had to approve echecks manually.

Thanks Skippy - good to know we're in the same boat :)

Wonder what the answer is? It's not a major bind, but it's just that bit extra to remember all the time.
