Hey guys, I know this has been asked before but for some reason over the last 2 days I have had hit and miss with PayPal IPNs. Out of 100 payments yesterday, 60 worked, 40 were pending I can not figure out the error, in the error log I have loads for the IPN. Any ideas? Regards,
I realised a glitch, I changed the PayPal address in my AdminCP, BUT if people already have an account and add a new subscription or update an old one it goes to the previous PayPal account!!! Guys sort this out!!!
This is not so. If user already have subscription set in your old paypal account, it will continue to be assigned to old account and will be billed in old account. But if user will go to /amember/member.php and will renew his subscription, that renewal will be created in new account.
Well it seems I was wrong, today I received 50 payments, aMember recorded 18!!! I am losing so much due to this, does anyone know of any better software?
@sharadjalota456: if the customer is paying, you will have the money in your account regardless if the IPN fires successfully or not. Is the money there? If so then (for the short term until the issue is resolved) you can manually update the customer. If the money is not there, then the customer is probably abandoning the payment process and not completing the PayPal payment which suggests that things are working as they should.
Hey, The money is in my PayPal account, manually updating is out of the question when you receive 60 payments in 30 minutes and even if it was less the amount of work would be huge, first I would have to find the account (not everyone uses the same email address) and then edit the subscription.
Please contact us in helpdesk and provide access info and example of payments that were not recorded in amember I will check this.
Has anyone figured out a fix for this? I am tired of having to go to support every time something is not working. It just takes too long.
Each situation is different. I just can't tell you waht is wrong without checking aMember's invoice log.
